Business Sectors We work with a wide range of clients that include professional engineers, Licensed Site Professionals, landscape architects, attorneys, foresters, ecologists, biologists, and land-use planners. Our clients have included private corporations, landowners, utilities, energy developers, real estate developers, State transportation departments, Federal agencies, and non-profits. Energy projects have included FERC hydropower relicensing dating back to the well-known "Class of '93" when many re-licensing applications became due. Since that time, we continue to work with utilities that own and operate hydropower projects. Our specific efforts include license compliance tasks related to wildlife enhancements, fish habitat improvements, rare species conservation, and recreational enhancements. With the rise of wind power development in North America we have had experience with State and Federal environmental permitting for these types of projects. We also have ongoing experience with nuclear power plant decommissioning associated with work at the Yankee Rowe Nuclear Power Station and the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Transportation work has included highway, bridge, airport, marine terminal, and rail projects. We have worked on both residential and commercial real estate development and we work closely with forest landowners involved with green certification. Many of our current projects are in support of carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas certification. We also provide services to professionals working in the eco-risk and human health risk fields associated with environmental contamination through field-based ecological studies.
